gigasept® instru AF is a concentrate and should be diluted with cold water to achieve the desired application concentration. 

Dosage: Depending on the required effectiveness, use 1.5% to 4% concentration. 

Application example: For instance, 1 liter of a 3% working solution comprises 970 ml of water and 30 ml of gigasept® instru AF. Ensure complete coverage of instrument surfaces, including hollow instruments, and allow them to soak in the solution. 

Rinse all instruments thoroughly after cleaning with water of at least drinking quality, preferably sterile distilled or fully deionized water, to completely remove cleaning solution residues. 

Do not exceed recommended contact times and concentrations. Follow the instrument manufacturers' reprocessing guidelines. 

National regulations may necessitate separate cleaning and disinfection processes. Not suitable for final disinfection of semicritical and critical medical devices. 

Standing time: If used solely for disinfecting previously cleaned instruments, the working solution can stand for 7 days. Regulations may limit the duration for solutions used for cleaning. 

Ultrasonic cleaning: gigasept® instru AF is highly suitable for use in ultrasonic devices, maintaining chemical stability during the process. Studies indicate effective cleaning after short exposure times. Detailed reports available upon request. 

Avoid heating the stock solution above 40 °C to maintain product efficacy.

Keep container tightly closed. Protect from frost, heat, and sunlight. Store in the original container. 

Do not use gigasept® instru AF after the expiry date.
